Girls on the Run

Interested in supporting a local Girls on the Run chapter at Washington Elementary? The LCO is looking for assistant coaches to get the program up and running for Spring 2026.

Girls on the Run is open to all girls (including trans/non-binary/female identifying) at Washington Elementary. Practices will be after school on Monday and Wednesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

There is a cost of $30 per member, but full scholarships are available to anyone who would like to participate.

Coaches must be: (1) a cleared volunteer with the school district (volunteer packets are available here or at the school office); and (2) a cleared volunteer with Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run requires an in-person training on certain dates.
